RATES
You will not find a "contact us" link on our site for rate information, it's all up front. All recording, editing, mixing and mastering is a flat rate of $40.00 per hour, I don't charge higher rates for different portions of your project. Packages and specials are even less per hour so watch for those. You are only billed for the amount of time scheduled and any material costs incurred during your session. I'm up-front with the rates and material costs because I'm a musician, who is also a recording engineer, that owns a professional recording facility so I think no differently than you do when it comes to what recording costs "should" be. There's no need for a price quote, I charge an all inclusive flat hourly rate that musicians want and expect and I've even listed an exact price sheet right here on this page. It's nice to know exactly what your expenses will be vs. how much time you need. My studio is designed to be affordable and is a full production, professional facility.
NO SUPPLY COST OPTION
Digital recording usually requires no extra cost, I supply the computer and hard drive that your music is recorded onto for free. If you wish to backup the project masters you will need to let me know at sessions end, otherwise they will be permanently deleted when you leave. Your engineer is provided at no extra cost.
SCHEDULING / POLICIES
There is a two hour minimum for all sessions requiring a deposit to schedule. Your deposit totals five hours of studio time, if your session is five hours or less your deposit is the entire amount of time scheduled. I will not schedule a session without its deposit to avoid No-Shows and last minute cancellations / rescheduling. I will not work an unsecured session with promise of its payment at a later date. I don't extend credit or release any studio mixes and/or studio masters until balance is paid in full at sessions end. 72 hours notice is needed to reschedule or cancell a session and the deposit is not refunded if you call the day of and/or the day before your scheduled session. Calling to check for availability does not put a hold on any open dates discussed. Not securing your session with its payment and showing up anyway at a date and time discussed when checking for availability is not a valid session. Someone else may have reserved the time, if not, an engineer will not be available for an unscheduled session.
